Chris Garcia Law Group, P.C. has almost thirty years experience and possesses the strengths of a large law firm, but has the practical efficiencies of a boutique practice.
Our firm regularly handles matters located in all counties in the Houston area, including Galveston county. We are also capable and comfortable in other jurisdictions, including out of state matters, as we currently represent clients in various states across the country.
In addition to our extensive practice in the state courts, a significant portion of our practice is based in federal courts.
ATTORNEYS
Chris C. Garcia
Chris grew up in Galveston, and worked in the family retail seafood and restaurant business. His grandparents started Fisherman's Wharf in Galveston in 1965. He learned early on that there is no substitute for hard work in achieving success.
A hard work ethic and preparation was further emphasized when he began practicing law in Galveston with Mills Shirley. There, Chris was fortunate to work with some of the greatest litigators in Texas.
Chris started CGLG in July 2015. Chris obtained his BS at Texas A&M Univeristy and attended South Texas College of Law in Houston. Chris worked while in College and Law School to help pay for his education.
Chris currently lives in Friendswood, Texas with his wife, Julie, and three daughters.
Lauren E. Childress
Lauren joined the firm in August 2015. Lauren obtained her BBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin in 2009. Thereafter, she attended the Texas Tech School of Law where she served on Volumes 44 and 45 of the Texas Tech Law Review. Lauren served on the Board of Editors for Volume 45 and graduated in May 2013 with honors.
Lauren was born and raised in Galveston, Texas. She and her husband, Donnie, live in Galveston with their three daughters.
Jason Reynal
Jason grew up in Bay City, Texas. A third-generation Aggie, he graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009 with a BA in English. Afterward, he attended Baylor Law School and received his degree there in 2012.
Jason joined the Chris Garcia Law Group in 2021. Previous to that, he worked as a litigation associate at a small firm in Bryan, Texas.
Jason lives in Spring with his husband Steven and their two dogs. He has written two novels and is currently working on a third.
